New House, Clare

New contemporary residence on steeply sloping site in Clare adjacent to the picturesque Reisling Trail. The site was step benched to provide flat pads for the house and garage and although the house was orientated to mainly face east and west, a substantial amount of glazing on the northern end of the building provided passive solar heating to the living rooms.

A high level east facing skylight in the kitchen provided views to the natural eucalypt scrub on the high side of the house site.
