Renovations and additions to Clare Town Hall / Ennis Park
A scheme aimed at revitalising the underutilised front (west) of the town hall, on the lower level, and also providing wheelchair access to the upper level where the local History Group has its display and work rooms.
The scheme also seeks to better integrate the adjacent Ennis Park with the town hall with both physical connection via large cafe doors, and visual connection with a roof style on the main covered area in Ennis Park, that is more sympathetic to the facade elements of the existing town hall.
Use of the front of the hall is envisaged as a cafe opening out onto the park and this use would not prohibit access to the town hall proper via either the new northern entry or the existing main entry from Main North Rd.
Remodelling of the landscape elements in the park seeks to make the space a greener and more welcoming area at all times of the year, and also allow the ongoing provision of space for market stalls
